In a world where time moves so quickly, being able to stop for even just a second and capture a moment is what makes my heart flutter. It's what makes me whole. It's what keeps me going. Life is short and before we know it, our kids have grown quicker than we can comprehend and we are watching them come into their own and have families of their own. That is why building a legacy is so important. Let me be the one to help tell your story for generations to come.
Recently I have been feeling like time is moving much quicker. It boggles my mind to see how quickly kids are growing around me, seeing my mom get older and looking in the mirror and seeing life just pass by.
My goal as a photographer is simple. Capturing a moment in time for you to live in the moment, bask in it and cherish it forever. I know that sounds corny but it's how I feel. I want to transport you to that time you were pregnant with your first born or the time you found your one true love. Or take a trip down memory lane and see how little your kids were in your annual family portraits as you watch them go to college and start their own families.
I lost my father when I was 18 years old and I only have photos and my memories to fall back on. As I struggle with my memory of him, these photos we have help remind me of the times I may have forgotten about. I didn't know it then but our family portraits and candid photos have captured his legacy in ways I didn't ever think it would.
I can't help but express how important it is to have updated photos. It's not for the gram or showing off what my life is like for me. It's about building my families legacy, creating memories we can look back on forever. Finding the beauty in that special moment you are celebrating. Or maybe you are just celebrating a birthday or even a milestone. Being alive and being you is reason enough to celebrate. Let's capture it together.

We are so happy with our sons newborn photos! They are absolutely beautiful. Tamar was so patient and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable throughout our photo session. She asked us for our input and was flexible with our schedule as we had to nurse as soon as we arrived. Throughout the session she wore a mask, maintained a safe distance, and had a clean sanitized area for us to place our son for photos. Tamar has an eye for detail and an ability to capture beautiful moments that we will treasure forever. We are super grateful!

Tamar is a lifestyle portrait photographer who loves capturing the sweet, intimate moments when people are living in the moment and don’t realize she has her lens on them.
Based in Los Angeles, Tamar didn’t grow up surrounded by cameras all her life. In fact, it wasn’t until she was suggested to take a photography class for fun in Junior College when she was awe struck by the process and completely fell in love with photography. Tamar proceeded to study Photography at Art Center College of Design where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Photography + Imaging.
Tamar is a very detail oriented and organized person. In fact, she's obsessed with organizing. Whether it's at home, in her office or her home studio, Tamar is all about labels and bins. She also sees the little details others usually don’t. She goes above and beyond to make sure she creates beautiful imagery that captures your heart and warms your soul. You feel the love and joy through her photos. That’s what makes her a great story teller.
