A non-refundable retainer guarantees that I’ll hold the date exclusively for you. After booking, any other inquiries or commissions for your date and/or time are turned down to ensure that I’m 100% yours, and you’ll have me at my very best.
Once you’ve selected your date and we’ve determined your photography coverage, we’ll prepare and send a contract for your review. We ask that you return your signed contract within one week to ensure that your date remains available. Once we receive the signed contract and non-refundable retainer, your session date is officially booked! The final balance is due two weeks prior to your session/event. Payments can be made by Venmo, Apple Pay, Paypal, or credit card.
Your online gallery will be ready four to six weeks after the event/session date. Typically this is ready much earlier. The studio edits every single image that is delivered - which takes time. However, I understand the need to share photos right away, which is why we do our best to send your gallery much sooner than the four to six week timeframe.
Prints ordered from the online gallery are typically shipped within a week of ordering.
Once the files are delivered they are your responsibility to archive. I suggest making a backup copy of your photos immediately after you download them— either to a cloud-based service like Dropbox, the cloud in our web gallery, Google drive, or to a physical backup hard drive. Or even better, do both!
You can download your files from your online gallery as many times as you need for as long as the gallery is live. After the gallery expires in three months, there’s a nominal fee to reinstate it. I keep an archive of all final images in the studio, and make every effort to have redundant copies both in “the cloud” and on physical drives.
For the ultimate in safe-keeping and long-term enjoyment, I suggest ordering proof prints of your images. Many things can happen with digital files such as corruption, accidental erasure, and technological obsolescence. (Remember CDs?) Prints are still the best long-term storage and archiving solution.

I retain the copyright to the images. Upon delivery of the images, you’re granted a non-exclusive, personal use license to print and share the photos.
Some people take a little while to warm up, and that’s totally ok! While I’m primarily a lifestyle photographer, I also love photographing portraits and shy away from stiff, traditional posing techniques. Instead, I guide you with natural, easy directions and give you things to do together — so your focus is more on each other than on the camera. If you’re really nervous about being photographed, a mini session is a great way to practice and will make your portraits that much more natural.
I am based in Los Angeles, CA and am happy to travel to help tell your story.
